The concept of time is inseparably linked to us. Every minute and second quietly flows around us, yet always brushes past softly, without leaving a trace. We often focus more on specific moments in time or significant events, yet we easily forget the everyday occurrences that stealthily slip by.
I used to be very restless, anxiously chasing after things I did not yet possess or a more ideal future. For a long time, I couldn't feel happiness. It seemed like I was always in a hurry to move on to the next stage, eager to see a version of myself that was closer to being "complete." This led me to constantly doubt myself, change my style, gaze at other lives, and seek new ways of self-expression, feeling agitated and uneasy.
When I stand at a bustling street corner, watching the flow of people and traffic, and then step back to observe all those busy people hurrying along, aren't I also one of them? Focused only on the destination and neglecting the more important journey.
However, when I choose to stop and reflect on my memories, moments that bring a smile to my face or the simple happiness I currently possess emerge, bringing me a long-lost warmth. In that moment, I feel a long-lost happiness, a calm, serene, but very real happiness.
Therefore, I hope to document these memories through my work, to settle and warm myself, while also conveying these feelings to more people. I hope those who see my works can also experience a sense of relaxation and joy.
